Help The Cleveland Service Industry
As you know, in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, all bars, restaurants, and other types of businesses in Cleveland, Ohio have been restricted to specific service offerings or closed.
Being a restaurant and brewery, we've felt the effects of the order first-hand. So, we're focusing our efforts towards helping our staff and fellow service industry employees who's hours have been cut or who have been laid off during this time.
Along with our friends at CodeRed, we've put together the Cleveland Tip Jar. The Cleveland Tip Jar allows others to assist by sending "tips" virtually using the online jar database. We encourage all community members to help support friends, family, co-workers, and people you may not know yet, by donating a 'tip' – even $1 counts! And, for Saucy Brew Works team members, we will be matching 'tips' up to a total of $5,000.
If you're looking for someone specific who has registered, they can be found on the list. If you don't know a service industry employee and are looking to donate, we offer random selection during each site visit. We ask that everyone encourage their favorite folks to come and fill out the form if not already listed!
The Cleveland Tip Jar database contains public submissions from local employees that include their name, place of work, and their Venmo, PayPal or Cash App account information. The information is self-reported through the online platform and is provided "as-is" upon review by our team of volunteers.
To those considering donating, it's important to remember that sticking together is key and a little goes a long way. Please circulate widely through shares of this webpage, social media, or the Cleveland Tip Jar site. Thank you for your continuous support!
