[Detroit, Michigan] – 6/1/2023- Saucy Brew Works, a beloved craft brewery and restaurant in Detroit, regrets to announce the closure of its operations effective 6/1/2023. After careful consideration and assessment of various factors, the management of Saucy Brew Works Detroit has made the difficult decision to cease all activities at this location.

Since opening our doors in 2021, Saucy Brew Works Detroit has been proud to serve our patrons with quality craft beer and delicious food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We are immensely grateful to the Detroit community and our loyal customers who have supported us throughout our journey.

Despite our best efforts and the dedicated work of our talented team, the ongoing challenges posed by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to The Covid-19 Pandemic, rising Inflation, labor force issues, and the general economy not reviving post the pandemic have made it unsustainable for us to continue operations at this time. This decision was not made lightly, and we deeply regret any inconvenience caused to our valued customers, partners, and employees.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our incredible team members who have been the backbone of Saucy Brew Works Detroit. Their hard work, passion, and commitment have been instrumental in creating memorable experiences for our guests over the years. We are working diligently to support our employees during this transition, providing assistance and resources to ensure a smooth transition to their next endeavors.

Although Saucy Brew Works Detroit will no longer be operating, we remain dedicated to the craft beer community. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our suppliers, vendors, and partners who have been an integral part of our journey. The spirit of Saucy Brew Works will live on as we explore future opportunities to continue sharing our passion for brewing exceptional craft beer.

We encourage you to visit our other locations, including our flagship brewery in Cleveland, where we will continue to offer our signature brews and delicious menu options.
